Title: How to Effectively Communicate Your Science to Any Audience
Organizers: New York Academy of Sciences (NYAS)
Description: You’re trying your best to communicate your work effectively, but listeners aren’t following you or they’re bored. You want your audience to see your work like you do - its value, its potential to change the world…but how are you supposed to communicate to non-experts about your research?
In this live, interactive course, you’ll learn to translate your research into clear, engaging descriptions so you can excel in job interviews, write lay abstracts for grant funding, and communicate with non-experts in any setting—from department and industry presentations to meetings with funders and even family get-togethers and chats with friends.
Dates: 20th May - 10th June
Language: ENG
Registration: $500 (deadline: May 17th), limited to 30 participants.
